NJCAA Suspends Competition

March 13, 2020

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) is suspending all competition beginning Saturday, March 14, through Friday, April 3.

The announcement was made today by NJCAA President and CEO Dr. Christopher J. Parker, who said “the goal is to look after the safety and security of all involved.” The NJCAA will reevaluate the national landscape on April 3 and if conditions have improved, regular-season competition will resume. During the “no competition” period, each individual institution will determine its own practice schedule.

Central Community College will continue with practices from Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20, and will continue to monitor the situation.
