CCC Extends Closure

Central Community College has announced that all its campuses and centers will remain closed through Friday, May 8, due to the COVID-19 outbreak. CCC administrators had originally announced that all locations would be closed through Friday, May 1.
CCC campuses are in Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings. Centers are in Holdrege, Kearney, Lexington and Ord.
Remote instruction and services will continue with all advising or other student appointments to be conducted by either phone or video technology. Only pre-authorized employees will be allowed in the buildings to support the remaining residence hall students, provide security and continue operations.
If the closure extends beyond May 8, an announcement will be sent to the media and posted on the CCC website and social media platforms.
