Meeting the Needs. Providing the Solutions.

Please enjoy this issue of the Community Connection with stories and testimonials of how CCC meets the needs of the community, students, and workforce by providing options, adapting to change, and engaging the communities we serve. The CCC Foundation also works hard to meet the changing needs of CCC students by providing resources to help them succeed, while keeping donors engaged. We also celebrate success! Please enjoy the pictures from both Mid-Year and May Commencement Ceremonies along with our CCC Foundation Hall of Fame inductees celebration honoring dedicated donors. Dr. Cheri Beda

Our graduates go on to do amazing things in our Nebraska communities. This year’s Outstanding Alumni Award winners exemplify the CCC mission statement of maximizing student and community success. We are accepting nominations for the Outstanding Alumni Award 2023.

NDE Enlists CCC Assistance

One of the things that Central Community College is known for is responding to the needs of the community. In May 2020, a call for assistance came from the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) to quickly create a necessary course for would-be substitute teachers. The plea came after numerous school superintendents across the state said they had a critical shortage of substitute teachers.
