Men's Basketball Camps

All the CCC Boys Basketball camps will be held in the Raider Fieldhouse (4500 63rd St, Columbus, NE 68601)

Boys Shooting Clinic, June 1, 8, 15, and 22

$60

7th-12th grade: 4 sessions, 4-5 p.m.
(Limited to 30 campers.)

*Payments are made for all four weeks and cannot be made week by week.

This camp is designed to teach campers to refine their shooting technique by breaking down the shooting process and focusing on proper footwork.

Little Raider Boys Basketball Camp

$45 (includes a basketball, must pre-register to be guaranteed a basketball)

K-5th grade, July 5-6: 8:30-10:30 a.m.
(Limited to 30 campers.)

6th-8th grade, July 12-13: 8:30-10:30 a.m.
(Limited to 30 campers.)

Little Raider Camp will focus on individual skill development and shooting technique for beginning players.

Little Raider Fundamental Girls Basketball Camp, June 7-8

Fee includes a basketball (must pre-register to be guaranteed a basketball).

Position Girls Basketball Camp, June 9-10

Fee includes a basketball (must pre-register to be guaranteed a basketball).

Guards: 6th-12th grade, 9-11 a.m., $45
(Limited to 30 campers.)
Posts: 6th-12th grade, 1-3 p.m., $45
(Limited to 30 campers.)

*This camp will focus on specific instruction for guards and post players. Athletes will learn both offensive and defensive moves for excelling at a specific position.

Soccer Camps

All the CCC Soccer camps will be held on the Raider Soccer field (4500 63rd St, Columbus, NE 68601)

Coed Little Raider Soccer Camp, July 13-14

$35 with a soccer ball

K-5th grade: 1-2:30 p.m.

Covers all aspects of the game including dribbling, passing, scoring, defense, and game play.

Women's College ID Camp, July 19

(Intended for High School Prospective College athletes)

$30 with a t-shirt, campus tour and lunch included.

9th-12th grade: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Intended for high school aged prospective college athletes. Campers will receive coaching and drills from both the Head Men’s and Women’s Coaches, and will be evaluated as potential student-athletes at Central Community College.

Coed Technical and Skill Camp, July 20-22

$30 ($55 if registering for both Techinal & Skill & Situational Developmental Camps)

6th-8th grade: 1-2:30 p.m.

Focuses on various aspects of the technical and skill side of the game (footwork, dribbling, passing, and shooting).

Coed Situational Developmental Camp, July 27-29

$30 ($55 if registering for both Techinal & Skill & Situational Developmental Camps)

6th-8th grade: 1-2:30 p.m.

Camp designed to help players learn the skills and strategy needed to handle different situations that will commonly occur in a game. More specifically, we will go over offense and defense in 1V1, 2V2, and 3V3 situations.

Softball Camps

All the CCC Softball camps will be held on the Raider Softball field (4500 63rd St, Columbus, NE 68601)

Little Raider Softball Camp, June 2

$35 (includes a t-shirt)

4th-6th grade: 9 a.m.-Noon

This camp will focus on the fundamentals of both hitting and defensive drills

Softball Skills Camp

Hitting Camp, June 2

$35 (includes a t-shirt)

Session 1: 7th-9th grade, 1-4 p.m.

This camp will focus strictly on hitting

Defense Camp, June 3

$35 (includes a t-shirt)

Session 2: 7th-9th grade, 9 a.m.-Noon

This camp will focus strictly on defensive drills

Sessions will emphasize individual position and skill training. The clinics are designed to build skills in progression over a four-week period.

Little Raider Volleyball Camp, June 21-22

$35 (includes a full-size CCC Customized Molten Volleyball, must pre-register to be guaranteed a volleyball)

Session 1: K-2nd grade: 9-10:15 a.m.
(Limited to 24 campers.)

Session 1: 3rd-4th grade: 10:30-11:45 a.m.
(Limited to 24 campers.)

Session 2: K-2nd grade: 1-2:15 p.m.
(Limited to 24 campers.)

Session 2: 3rd-4th grade: 2:30-3:45 p.m.
(Limited to 24 campers.)

Little Raider Camp will be basic entry level volleyball skills for the beginning players. Primary focus will be on correct technique and learning skills. Training will be provided by Central Coaching Staff and Raider Volleyball players. Volleylite balls will be used to ensure success for young players.

Session 1 and session 2 are the same camps offered at different times to accommodate for the limited participant numbers.

Skills Volleyball Camp, June 23-24

$40 (includes a full-size CCC Customized Molten Volleyball, must pre-register to be guaranteed a volleyball)

Session 1: 5th-7th grade: 9-11 a.m.
(Limited to 24 campers.)

Session 2: 5th-7th grade: 1-3 p.m.
(Limited to 24 campers.)

Skills Camp emphasizes training the fundamentals and development of all volleyball skills for campers ages 5th-7th grade.

Specialty Volleyball Camps

Setting Camp, June 28

$25

8th-12th grade: 9:30 a.m.- noon
(Limited to 24 campers.)

The setter camp is designed to develop and train the setting position.

Pass/Serve/Defend Camp, June 28

8th-12th grade: 1-3:30 p.m.
(Limited to 24 campers.)

The Pass/Serve/Defend Camp is designed to teach campers the basic fundamentals in having great all-around ball control and defensive skills.

Hitting Camp, June 29

Session 2: 8th-12th grade: 1-3:30 p.m.

Session 2 is a repeat of Session 1

The hitting camp is designed to develop basic attacking mechanics.

Participation Agreement

Student Participation Agreement

I understand that the best way to make sure that I remain safe and avoid injury is to follow the rules, regulations and instructions provided to me. I agree that I will learn and obey all the rules and regulations and will follow all instruction of the staff of this CCC sponsored activity. 

Parent/Guardian Agreement

I agree to allow my child/ward to participate in the CCC sponsored activity and affirm that my child’s/ward’s participation is completely voluntary. I understand that there are risks inherent in the activities my child will engage in while participating in the activity (some of which are described below) that may cause serious injury or even death. I also understand that, despite safety precautions, Central Community College cannot guarantee that my child/ward will not be injured. My child/ward and I are willing to assume these risks. To minimize the risk, I have instructed my child/ward to obey all the rules, regulations and instructions associated with the activity. 

I affirm that my child/ward’s participation in the activity is entirely voluntary, and understand that participation in this activity entails a risk of injury due to certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries, such as, but not limited to, the following: contact with other individuals engaged in the activity; contact with the floor, walls, or other obstacles utilized for the activity; and strenuous exertions, quick movements which place stress on the cardiovascular, muscular, and skeletal systems. The specific risks vary from (1) minor injuries such as scratches, bruises and sprains, to (2) major injuries such as eye injury or loss of sight, joint or back injuries, heart attacks, and concussions, to (3) catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death. I understand that if I have questions about possible hazards, it is my responsibility to seek additional information from the CCC staff prior to signing this Form. I also understand that, despite safety precautions, Central Community College cannot guarantee that my child/ward will not be injured. I agree to assume these risks. 

Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, Release and Agreement Not to Sue

In consideration for permitting my child/ward to participate in the CCC sponsored activity, I voluntarily agree, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, to the following: 

To Assume Full Responsibility for Any Risks or Loss, or Personal Injury, Including Death

that may be sustained by my child/ward, or any loss or damage to property owned by me/my child/ward, as a result of training for, participating in, or traveling to or from the CCC sponsored activity. 

To Release, Waive, Hold Harmless, Discharge and Agree Not to Sue

the person or entity responsible for administering the CCC sponsored activity, the activity director, his/her assistants, Central Community College, or its Board of Governors, officers, employees, agents, students, and staff from any and all liability, claims, actions, demands, expenses, attorneys fees, breach of contract actions, breach of statutory duty, or other duty of care, warranty, strict liability actions, and causes of action whatsoever, that I might now have or may acquire in the future, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in the CCC sponsored activity. 

Permission to Transport

My child/ward is eligible to participate in activities requiring transportation to a location away from the Central Community College campus. Central Community College will arrange this group transportation. Off-campus activities will take place under the guidance and supervision of Central Community College staff. 

Emergency Medical Treatment

I grant permission to the activity director, assistants, of the CCC sponsored activity to act on my behalf for said minor in granting permission for evaluation/treatment of minor medical problems. I understand that should a major medical problem arise, an attempt will be made to notify me by telephone. In the event that I cannot be reached, I hereby give my consent to such medical treatment as deemed necessary by a licensed physician. I understand that any medical costs associated with the treatment will be my responsibility and my personal insurance is provided. 

Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued if 7 days or more prior to start of the sports camp; less than 7 days will not constitute a refund.

Medical issues/death in family will fully be refunded. However, if this is a medical issue, we will need a doctor’s note faxed or emailed to us.
