Nebraska Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) Summer Camp

All students who apply and are accepted will receive a scholarship that covers the cost of the camp.

Are you in the process of deciding your future career? Come and explore the many careers in the world of transportation. This is the only grant-funded, 10-day camp offered in Nebraska and awarded by the Department of Transportation. It will include one overnight stay as you travel west to discover the Golden Spike Railyards in North Platte. You will explore engineering, information technology, biology and many other careers and interact with professionals in those fields. We are looking for students curious about STEM-related education or careers. You must have at least a 2.0 GPA and have completed a basic algebra class or be eligible to enroll in the class in the coming year. You will need to submit two letters: the first is a recommendation from a guidance counselor or teacher and the second is one you write about why you want to attend the camp and how it will benefit your career goals.
