At Central Community College, we're all about learning – even before college begins. We offer a variety of programs intended for "younger" students. These youth programs include academic and athletic summer camps and short-term classes and workshops offered throughout the year.

Residential Academic Camp

Health Care Camps

  • Trauma, June 18-21, Grand Island
  • Through the ER Doors, Grand Island. Get your healing skills moving with this high-intensity health career camp focused on the careers that pick up once the patient enters the emergency room doors. Each day you will be provided with problem-solving patient scenarios, giving you a chance to use your STEM skills as you investigate how patients are treated and visit with medical professionals about their care. Youth Career Camps

  • Nebraska Summer Transportation Academy, Mondays-Fridays, June 3-14, Grand Island
  • LEGO Stop Action Photography, Grand Island. Join our new photography instructor Ellis Collins to learn the basic components of storyboarding, stop action photography, engineering and the construction of film scenes. This is a team-building camp where you and your friends will work together on superheroes; various media tools will be used for creating scenes. At the end of this camp participants will have a basic understanding of photography, scene design and use of videography. Call for dates, time and cost.
