Adding, dropping, or withdrawing from courses can impact a student's financial aid, ability to reside in the residence hall, and how much a student pays for college. It is important for students to fully understand the financial effects of decisions to change their schedule. It is strongly recommended that prior to adding, dropping or withdrawing from a course students consult with the staff in the Student Accounts Office and in the Financial Aid Office, if the student is receiving financial aid, prior to making changes. Students are responsible for initiating adding a course to their schedule, requesting that a course be dropped, and also for initiating a course withdrawal.
