 New Learning Management System

  • Central Community College is in the process of transitioning from Moodle, our current Learning Management System (LMS), to the Canvas LMS. Some courses will be using Canvas while some are still using Moodle, so there may be a possibility, if you are taking more than one course, you may have courses in both Moodle and Canvas for the Spring 2021 term. However, by Summer 2021, all Central Community College courses will be using Canvas LMS.
  • Canvas is a popular LMS for higher education institutions in Nebraska. Canvas is used by the University of Nebraska and by most community colleges in the state. Canvas has many features to help you manage your course assignments and communicate with your instructor.
  • You will access your courses on Canvas by going to the My Courses tab in WebCentral and clicking on the course name link to access your course. A Moodle course will show a after the course name and if it is a Canvas course, there will be nothing after the course name.
  • If you need technical assistance logging into WebCentral or have any issues with your Canvas courses, please contact the CCC Service Center:   https://helpdesk.cccneb.edu
