Tutoring is a free service to our students. Our tutors have knowledge in specific subjects and will act as a learning resource for you. They will help you review and study what you've learned in class.
We are also seeking students who want to become tutors. If you have an above average grade in a specific course and want to help others learn, then you may qualify. Our tutors are paid and set their own hours.

How do I use the Writing Center?
The Writing Center in Grand Island is located in Room 451. Students are encouraged to schedule appointments ahead of time. We welcome drop-ins as well, although a writing coach may not be immediately available. Please contact the academic success center at 308-398-7481 to schedule an appointment with a writing coach.
The Grand Island Academic Success Center serves as the campus testing center. Testing appointments are recommended, although drop-in testing is available as space allows. A photo ID is required at testing. Testing in the ASC must be arranged ahead of time with your instructor. For further information or to make a testing appointment, call 308-398-7481.
Pearson Vue testing may be held in the academic success center throughout the year. Registration for Pearson Vue testing is only available online at www.pearsonvue.com. Questions regarding Pearson Vue testing should be addressed to CCC’s Extended Learning Services Division, 308-398-7534.
Supplemental instruction is offered in courses that are historically difficult for students. A former student who excelled in the class facilitates group study sessions where students work together to practice the material through activities. These sessions are held weekly at a time that accommodates student’s schedules. Supplemental Instruction is a free service and participation is voluntary.
