Profile

While earning my degree or diploma my greatest supporters were
I have a huge family that consists of my biological, foster, and my adopted family. Throughout my two years at CCC, my family has always pushed me to do my best and to never give up. Even if I was completely stressed out with homework, tests, and the other curve balls life would throw, they would always say, "Nope. Keep going. You can do this." Their support meant everything!
What I enjoyed most about my experience at CCC was
The friendships I made as well as the relationships I had with my Human Services professors. My professors were also very supportive and caring throughout my time at CCC. There was never a time that I doubted my professors didn't care about me or their other students. I also enjoyed playing intramural basketball during my first year at CCC. I am definitely competitive, so this is something I really enjoyed doing.
I plan to use my degree/diploma to
help others. The reason I chose to obtain a Human Service's degree was to help others. As an individual who personally went through foster care as well as the adoption process, I know how it works and how certain things might make a person feel. Using my knowledge through my experience, I hope to help and inspire others. My degree is also a reminder that I finally did it; however, I am not done yet!
Following graduation I’m most looking forward to
After graduation, I plan to transfer to the University of Nebraska at Kearney to obtain my bachelors degree in social work.
