This course provides basic nursing knowledge and skills for nursing assistants in health care settings. It will meet Tuesdays through Thursdays, July 14-29.
Summer nursing assistant classes are taught in a hybrid blended format. Students must complete 30 hours of online coursework and 46 hours of scheduled in-person and hand-on skills training. They also are required to attend a mandatory orientaiton from 9 to 11 a.m. on July 17.
State test dates are July 30 and July 31.
Individuals must be 16 or older to register for this class. The fee includes books, fees and state testing. Payment is due at the time of regisration.
