Academic Success Center - Hastings
The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides many services for students. These include on-campus tutoring, online tutoring, computer lab and computer assistance, and the academic skill builder workshop.
Tutoring is a free service to our students. Our tutors have knowledge in specific subjects and will act as a learning resource for you. They will help you review and study what you've learned in class. Face to face, virtual, and small group tutoring is available in selected subjects.
We are also seeking students who want to become tutors. If you have an above average grade in a specific course and want to help others learn, then you may qualify. Our tutors are paid and set their own hours with individual students or study groups.
Virtual Tutoring
Students can access subject specific tutors at scheduled times simply through virtual tutoring.

These sessions are held at times that accommodate student schedules like weekends, evenings, etc. For more information contact the Academic Success Center.
Students who have an accommodation letter through Disability Services can utilize the Academic Success Center for testing accommodations. They need to inform their instructor and make an appointment with the ASC staff before testing.
