Create your CCC account
Creating an account will allow you to learn more about CCC. Once you create an account, you can schedule a campus visit, register for an admissions event, and apply for admission to the college.

Schedule a campus visit and tour
Sign up online to attend a Central Visit Day or schedule an individual tour with our Admissions staff.
Application for admission
Complete and submit your application. Applications may be completed and submitted on our website.
Some college programs have special admissions requirements and deadlines; you can find out about those by checking with the Admissions Office (308-398-7901 or [email protected]).
Fall term starts in August, Spring term in January, and Summer term in May. Review our academic calendar for more information.

If you completed college credit at another institution, including dual-credit earned while in high school, request copy be sent to CCC. Once the official transcript is received, CCC will evaluate the courses for possible use towards your program at CCC.
Central Community College prefers to receive all transcripts electronically. If you have questions about having your transcript submitted to us, please call 308-398-7412.
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
The FAFSA is available to be completed starting October 1. For more information, visit our Financial Aid page.

Apply for Scholarships
Over $2 million in aid is awarded annually to Central Community College students through institutional and privately funded scholarships. In addition, the Central Community College Board of Governors authorizes a number of tuition waivers for each campus.
Housing Information
Indicate your interest in on-campus housing on your application for admission. On-campus housing is available at the Columbus and Hastings campuses.
Students located in our Kearney Center can apply for housing through UNK. More information is available at UNK’s housing site.
Did you receive testing or other accommodations previously in school? Did you have an IEP or 504 plan while attending high school? Do you have a diagnosed disability, such as a medical or mental health condition or learning disability? Are you currently pregnant? If any of these questions apply to you, you may be eligible for accommodations while you’re attending CCC.
Registration Day Options
Sign up for a registration day event where you will meet with an advisor and set your class schedule.
Once your registered, get prepared for your first term at CCC!

Central Community College 2024 Annual Security & Fire Safety Report
The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes Clery Act crime and fire statistics for the preceding three years for locations owned and or controlled by Central Community College, the required policy disclosure statements and other important safety related information. A paper copy of the ASR is available on request made to the Security Department by calling 308-398-7440, by email to [email protected] or in person at the Financial Aid or Associate Dean of Student Success and Enrollment Management Offices on the Grand Island, Hastings and Columbus campuses and the Learning Center Managers Offices in Lexington, Holdrege, Kearney and Ord.
