Membership in student organizations can be an important part of college life, both socially and academically.

Ag Club (C)

The Ag Club works to increase student involvement and engagement in agricultural systems and to educate and inform citizens on the importance of agriculture. You’ll participate in leadership opportunities, community service projects and educational field trips.

Alpha Delta Nu (C, G, K)

Alpha Delta Nu promotes scholarship and academic excellence in the profession of Nursing. It encourages pursuit of advanced degrees in the Nursing profession, as well as continuing education as a life-long professional responsibility and recruits qualified individuals into the profession. Members will help sponsor one educational or recruitment project during the provisional membership period prior to induction, or at the discretion of the advisor. 

Membership

Open to all students enrolled in the Nursing program; must have a 3.0 GPA in gen ed courses, and must have earned a "B" at least for all Nursing coursework, with no failures in any Nursing course.

NEW: Alpha Delta Nu is available for students at Grand Island, Kearney, and Columbus.

Through the Campus Activity Board (CAB), you can help plan special and social events for the campus. A representative is part of the campus board structure as a spokesperson for student ideas, concerns, and suggestions.

CCC Book Club (C)
The CCC Book Club is a vibrant and inclusive community that promotes the joy of reading and fosters intellectual engagement among students from all majors and backgrounds. The club provides a positive and supportive environment where members can explore a diverse range of literary works, share insights, and engage in meaningful discussions. This club meets regularly, creating an open forum for members to discuss books chosen by both the club members and the CCC sponsors.

Criminal Justice Student Association (G, H, C, K))

The Criminal Justice Student Association works to develop leadership, cultivate fellowship among the students of CCC, promote volunteerism by conducting special projects that allow members to learn through service activities that meet community needs and provide members with educational and networking opportunities in all areas of the criminal justice field, including law enforcement, courts, and corrections

Have fun through a variety of intramural and informal sports throughout the year. The schedule is posted on bulletin boards and includes activities such as sand volleyball, coed volleyball, 4-on-4 basketball, dodge ball, flag football and an annual Elks Golf Tournament.

Media Arts (H)

Your creative side wants a place to excel. You only need training. Media Arts students specialize in broadcasting, graphic arts, multimedia, photography, video or the web. Your creativity is focused in fun and useful ways as you learn through community service learning projects, showcase your work on our student-designed website or on social media, or go on air at campus radio station KCNT. Members can work on The Black Squirrel, an online campus newspaper and assist with public design needs.

National Society of Leadership and Success (G)

The National Society of Leadership and Success offers you the opportunity to participate in empowering, skill-building leadership activities and to be the voice of student ideas, concerns and suggestions to the administration. The NSLS hosts a national speaker broadcast series for the public; has student representatives on various campus committees; and organizes the on-campus food and hygiene pantries, 5k run, trash pickup, holiday toy drives and blood drives.

Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association (H)

The Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association focuses on dental hygiene education, licensure and practice and promotes oral health care as part of total health.
