Department: Academic Transfer and General Education

Psychology is the scientific study of behavior, emotions and mental processes. Psychologists use scientific investigations to try to understand one of the most complex phenomena – human behavior. Our Psychology program is part of the Academic Transfer program and offers courses for students planning to complete two years of study before transferring to four-year colleges to complete bachelor's degrees in psychology or related fields. The courses also meet general education requirements.
