Medication Aide Training
Central Community College offers the 40-hour training required by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services for registry and for employment as a medication aide. Upon successful completion of the training, students are eligible to take the state competency examination.
Medication aides, also known as med aides, assist competent individuals, caretakers and licensed health care professionals, administer medications. They work in long-term care, assisted living, home care and other health care facilities.
