The incubator space at Columbus and Hastings campuses is available through CCC’s Entrepreneurship Center. The Entrepreneurship Center offers a variety of services for individuals and companies looking for technical or financial assistance in starting or growing their business such as coaching services, incubator space to start a new business at affordable rents, financial assistance to aid in starting a new business and/or continuing an existing business in the form of loans, and workshops and entrepreneurship training.
Columbus Entrepreneurship Center
The purpose of the CCC Entrepreneurship Center is to develop and provide access to quality entrepreneurial education opportunities, entrepreneurship resources, and assistance for existing and start-up business. The Entrepreneurship Center is within the CCC Opportunity Central building at 4860 33rd Avenue, Columbus. The Entrepreneurship Center has two incubator office setting spaces approximately 14 x 14 square feet. There is a training room, conference room and resource library available for the incubator/affiliate businesses to use. The coaching process provides information to help guide you through your start-up process or take your business to the next level.
Incubator participants must demonstrate their potential to create local enterprises by attending the Entrepreneur Workshop, submit a business concept/plan, and financials. Applicants must present their application and business concept/plan for acceptance into the program.
Incubator participants must participate in business networking, coaching services, financial evaluation, education trainings and community business activities each month.
Hastings Incubator Space
The small business incubator space located on Hastings campus has up to 5,000 square feet to start or grow a small business. The main purpose of the incubator is to provide space at an affordable rate for new small business start-ups and/or for small business owners that wish to grow and expand. The incubator serves as a launching pad for businesses until they are able to graduate to a market-rate location or outgrow the space.
