Applying for Admission
Prior to the first semester of enrollment, complete and submit an application for admission.
Have your high school and/or college transcripts or GED scores sent. Also, send copies of your ACT or SAT scores. A student who transfers to CCC from an accredited institution of higher education and who has earned a “C” or better in college-level English and math may be exempt from the pre-enrollment assessment requirement. Other exemptions may apply. Students will be notified of their admission status. For step-by-step instruction about how to enroll, select from the list below.
Admission to the college does not mean admission to all courses or programs. Some programs have specific admissions requirements. For more information, go to the admissions section of our catalog or contact an admissions director.

If you want to enroll in CCC courses without working toward a degree, call the Registrar’s Office at 308-398-7412 to register in courses. No advisor will be assigned and you won't be eligible for financial aid. If you later decide to earn a degree you will need to be accepted by the college as a degree-seeking student.
If you are a high school junior or senior and are at least 16 years old, you can start earning college credits now through CCC's Early College program. Some classes are taught in high schools through distance learning, or you can take classes at our campuses or centers.
An affordable, high-quality education that gets you ready for a great career in two years or less or prepares you to transfer to a four college or university — that’s the CCC advantage.
We recommend that high school graduates begin the process to enroll at CCC before they graduate, but applications are welcome at any time.
Congratulations on earning your GED certification. You've achieved a significant milestone in your education. Now it's time to think about the next step.
We're glad you've decided to resume your studies at CCC.
If you are transferring to CCC from another college, we welcome you.
Welcome to CCC. Our goal is to outline the process potential F-1 international students need to accomplish in order to be accepted and enrolled. We have included information on this page and on the pages to be downloaded that will be very helpful if you’re making the decision to attend and then to apply to CCC. Please review all materials carefully and then download, complete and submit all forms.
You don’t have to be a high school graduate to enjoy the educational benefits of Central Community College.
