Capstone Reservations 

The Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts program at Central Community College will be offering our upscale dining experience once again this semester. The Capstone Experience is the main final for students in HMRM 2800, prior to the completion of their course work in obtaining their Associate of Applied Science Degree. The Capstone Experience offers a wonderful meal prepared by the program students. The meal consists of an appetizer, soup, salad, entrée, artisan breads, dessert, and beverage. Reservations will be open to the student’s friends and family first. If there are any remaining seats, we will fill via our waitlist. To be added to our waitlist, please fill out the form below.

  • Costs of appetizer, artisan breads, soup or salad, entrée, and tea or coffee range between $20-27 per person. Wine is $6 per glass, with a 2 glass limit.  Please bring identification.

Woodlands Dining / Culinary Arts Club Catering Request

Culinary Arts

You’ll gain hands-on experience in food preparation and service through assignments in the operation of our on-campus Woodlands Dining Room. Our faculty give you the opportunity to work independently in planning menus, selecting recipes, planning work schedules, pre-costing menu items and preparing and serving each item. You’ll also develop skills in baking, sauce preparation, soups, garde-manger and entrees.

Hospitality Services

As a hotel and motel management student, you’ll study hotel law, housekeeping management, convention and group business, front office procedures and hospitality management. You’ll gain experience with industry front office computer software and have the opportunity for internships with local hotels and motels.

At 2020-21 tuition and fee rates, completing the 63 credits required for the Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts degree costs:

Nebraska residents - $6,741

Non-residents - $9,639
