CEVSS GRANT

Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success Grant

Central Community College was recently awarded the Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success Grant. This is a U.S. Department of Education program supported through the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education.

Of 277 two and four-year colleges that applied, only 15 colleges in the United States received this highly competitive grant.  We are thrilled that Central Community College has this unique opportunity to provide significant support to our returning veterans who are pursuing higher education.

As a part of this grant, Central Community College has established a Veterans Resource Center on each of our three campuses: Grand Island, Hastings, and Columbus.
