Kids Class: Drawing People

  • Class Type: Youth
  • Location: Grand Island
  • Start Date: October 17, 2020
  • Time: 5 - 6 p.m.

Learn from the comfort of your own home! Using the WebEx video conferencing platform, you will experience engaging, interactive lessons with your CCC instructor.

We will apply skills from the Realistic Drawing course and apply them to drawing humans. Many artists want to include human characters in their comics and stories but feel that humans are “too hard” to draw. But drawing a human is just like drawing any other being, and when you understand the basics, you can apply your skills to create unique and interesting characters. We will also begin to explore “gesture” drawing to give your people a sense of action and “foreshortening” so you can draw people from any angle. To take this course, you must have already completed the Realistic Drawing course. This class is designed with kids in mind, but anyone can join. The class will meet Oct. 17 and Oct. 18.

WebEx login instructions will be emailed to prior to the start of the class.
