Learn to Draw Animals

  • Class Type: Arts and Crafts, Youth
  • Location: Hastings
  • Start Date: October 08, 2022
  • Time: 1 - 4 p.m.

This class is meant for kids 8 yeears and older (and adults) who are interested in learning to draw anatomically correct animals. We will talk about basic animal anatomy and how to use simple forms to draw any animal. We will draw several animals, but this class will teach you how to understand animal forms in a way that will enable you to be able to draw ALL animals. This class is about thinking like an artist by finding similarities between animals and observing what makes each animal unique. With some practice, you’ll be able to draw animals from your imagination or even create your own mythical creatures that look realistic because you will have a good understanding of animal anatomy.

For this class, you will only need basic pencils, a white eraser, pencil sharpener and paper. CODE: AVOR 1020 CHE41
