This class will consist of five parts: payroll management; FLSA overtime exemptions; worker classification, including employee vs. independent contractor and nonexempt employees and how they are treated in payroll; maintaining compliance; and other unique payroll considerations. Learn what "Top 3 Questions" are asked during an audit or investigation and how to answer them, what to do when the state law says one thing and the federal government says something different and much more. The class will meet Nov. 15-17.
