Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (SUAV) or “drones” have become mainstream in popular culture and are an important tool from agriculture to emergency response. In this survey, students will learn the history and multiple uses of drones, understand how drones fly, and review current FAA regulations important to legally fly drones commercially. No prior experience necessary. Certified Crop Advisor CEU credit eligible. Hands-on drone experience available, weather permitting.
