Have you always wanted to start your family tree, but did not know where to start? This introductory class will teach you the foundations of genealogy, help you build an understanding of various sources, and the principles of conducting good genealogical research.
This two-day class is taught by Shaun Klee, reference and collection services librarian at the Grand Island Public Library, whose lifelong interest in family history research grew into his passion for helping others do the same. He holds a bachelor's degree in anthropology, a master's degree in library science and a professional certificate in genealogical research.
This class will meet April 3 and April 10.
