Beginning Online Genealogy

This introductory class will help you begin your family history research using online resources. It is designed for those new to genealogy or those interested in expanding their research to online sources. Bring what you know about your family (names, birth dates, death dates, etc.) because laptops will be available for personal research at the end of each class.

The class will meet Oct. 7, 14 and 21. Topics will include:

  • Session 1: Comparison of free and paid websites
  • Session 2: Genetic Genealogy, how your DNA can help your research
  • Session 3: You have gathered the family information, now what?
