Have you ever wanted to learn how to detect metals but didn't know how to start? Well, then this is a class for you. Metal Detecting 101 is taught by local detectorist Grant Johnson, who will cover finding the right metal detector, using proper digging techniques, researching spots to detect, displaying finds and other topics related to metal detecting. The class will meet Tuesdays, Oct. 4-18.
