This course will meet Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, March 12 through April 13. It will teach basic nursing knowledge and skills for nursing assistants in health care settings. It meets federal and state requirements for nurse aide training and competency evaluation programs. State testing will be conducted after the session's completion.
The 14 scheduled meeting days are mandatory. Students must complete 60 on-campus classroom hours in addition to 30 online hours to meet the course requirements. Course work must be completed within the scheduled time frame.
Orientation to class/Canvas will be held at 4:30 p.m. on March 12.
