This course will provide an introduction to pharmacology, including the basic knowledge and skills they need to safely administer medications. Classes are taught by qualified, approved instructors who use the Nebraska Health Care Association curriculum accepted by the Nebraska Department of Health. The class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 12 through Oct. 19.
Students must be at least 18 years old to be placed on the Nebraska State Registry as a medication aide. A student can take the class if they are within 150 days of their 18th birthday.
The cost includes tuition, books and fees. State testing and DHHS registration cost extra.
