This class teaches all you need to know about over 12 easy-to-grow herbs, including growing conditions, how and when to harvest them, and their uses. Instructor Rachel Liester is a bio-regional herbalist, NE Master Naturalist, ethnobotanist, photographer, writer and educator who lives in Stanton County, Nebraska. Her passion for plants started with an interest in Native American culture at the age of 10 and developed into a family business in 1996 where she hosts nature-based events, teaches classes about herbs and leads wild herb walks. She also grows production herbs on her five-acre farm. Red Road Herbs Retreat is a Monarch Waystation, Certified Pollinator Habitat, Certified Wildlife Habitat and a member of the United Plant Saver's Botanical Sanctuary Network.
