Plants have been used for medicine since the beginning of time. Their biological effects and medicinal applications have been researched and well documented. In this class, we will explore pharmaceutical drugs in use today, their active constituents, and their plant origin and medicinal properties. Students will also learn about the origin of aromatherapy and experience various plant aromas.
