This is the leading course for prehospital providers in advanced medical assessment and treatment of commonly encountered medical conditions. Emphasizes the use of the AMLS Assessment Pathway, a systematic assessment tool that enables all levels of EMS practitioners to diagnose medical patients with urgent accuracy.
The class will meet July 20 and July 21 for a total 16 hours of continuing education with a face-to-face session for patient simulation, skills station instructions and evaluations. Certification is good for four years.
Preregistration is required by July 13. The book, AMLS 3rd edition, is not included in the class fee.
