This is the leading course for prehospital providers in advanced medical assessment and treatment of commonly encountered medical conditions. Emphasizes the use of the AMLS Assessment Pathway, a systematic assessment tool that enables all levels of EMS practitioners to diagnose medical patients with urgent accuracy. Total 16 hours of continuing education. face-to-face session for patient simulation, skills station instructions and evaluations. Certification is good for four years.
The class will meet Nov. 23 and Nov. 24. Preregistration is required by Nov. 16. The book, AMLS 3rd edition, is not included in the class fee.
