The class will meet Thursdays, Jan. 19 through May 6, plus one Saturday each month. Orientation will be held at 6 p.m. on Jan. 12.
The class will be taught by certified Nebraska Emergency Medical Technician instructors and include objectives designed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. After completion of the class, students must take and pass the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) written and practical exam and complete a State of Nebraska application to be licensed in Nebraska.
Individuals must have a current BLS Health Care Provider CPR card or its equivalent before they can take the class. CCC-Hastings will offer a CPR class from 6 to 10 p.m. on Jan. 5. The cost is $65.
