This course is designed for individuals with little or no medical training who need a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA) or other requirements. It can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
The class will be taught by qualified, approved American Heart Association (AHA) instructors who will utilize the AHA curriculum accepted by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. It will prepare students to provide first aid in medical and injury emergencies, CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Successful completion includes a CPR and AED skills test. Credential documentations (cards) are valid for two years.
