In this hands-on class, you will learn the secrets to creating fresh pasta by hand with home chef Katy McNeil. Learn about the different types of pasta, from classic spaghetti to bucatini and tagliatelle. Together we also will make a creamy white sauce and a basic Bolognese sauce to enjoy with fresh basil, some toasted baguette and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese to top it off.
Instructor Katy McNeil loves to share her “go to” tips, tricks and techniques for her favorite recipes. As a home chef, she’s been cooking for friends, family and a few select clients/events over the last 13 years. Recently, she has been sharing her passion with others through social media on #katycooks using fun and funky ingredients and making delectable use of leftovers.
