Tamales

  • Class Type: Cooking and Entertaining
  • Location: Lexington
  • Start Date: April 26, 2025
  • Time: 10 a.m. - 12 noon

If you and your family enjoy tamales, you can learn to make your own. Tamales are a traditional Mesoamerican dish made with masa (a dough made from nixtamalized corn) and typically filled with meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables or chilies. The masa and fillings are wrapped in a corn husk and steamed until cooked. This is a make-and-take class so you will leave with food to finish and enjoy at home.
