Canning can be a daunting and intimidating task. Home gardens tend to provide a lot of produce and once you harvest your fruits and vegetables, you want to preserve your efforts. In this class, you will get tips from an experienced canner. We will go over basic supplies needed for canning, types of syrups needed for fruits, the need to pressure can most vegetables. Handouts would be based on 4-H Extension and USDA food preservation guidelines.
