This summer, Central Community College-Columbus is holding the following two bootcamp-style plastic classes:

Plastic Injection Molding Foundations, AMDT 1610: June 3-13, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Plastic Injection Molding Concepts, AMDT 1620: June 17-27, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Students who successfully complete these courses will be qualified to interview for high-paying jobs in the plastics industry. They also can complete two additional classes and finish a plastics engeineering technology certificate at CCC.

GAP funding that covers the total cost of these classes is available to individuals who meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Fall below income guidelines listed.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or qualified alien under the Federal Immigration or Nationality Act.
  • Be a resident of Nebraska.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to learn.
  • Has the desire to work full time.
  • Ability to complete the training program.
