This workshop will focus on how developing assertiveness is more than just learning to talk differently. Being assertive requires thinking assertively, feeling confident, and behaving positively. This session focuses on guidelines for word choices and behaviors and exercises will help you change how you interact with others. You will discover how to use assertive communication to solve problems, make decisions, negotiate agreements, build strong teams, and more.
Central Community College's virtual trainings are interactive, engaging, instructor-led, and participant-centered. Build your support network and learn with others who are miles apart. You will see, talk, and learn from others in real time.
To get the full experience, each participant will need to use their own device and log on separately. Plan to participate and use your webcam and microphone because we want to hear your perspectives and experiences.
