Central Community College is offering courses for the Industrial Series, which provides a combination of lecture and hands-on learning using custom-built trainers. These courses will give you the foundational skills you need as a maintenance or set up technician.
- Feb. 17-18, Technical Diagrams: This seminar will provide a guide to learning technical diagrams. Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic drawing, diagrams and schematics are included.
- March 18-20, Mechanical Systems: This three-day training seminar is a common sense guide to learning mechanical systems and power transmission.
- April 15-17, Electrical Fundamentals: This three-day seminar is a common sense guide to learning electrical principles and troubleshooting.
- May 13-16, Electro-Pneumatics: Through this study of fundamental principles of fluid power systems, students will become familiar with various pneumatic components and their function with hands-on labs.
- June 16-18, Motor Controls: This three-day training session focuses on motor control and relay logic.
- July 8-9, Variable Frequency Drives: This two-day course gives maintenance technicians, engineers and specifiers insights into VFD theory, operation and installation.
- August 5-7, RS Logix 500 PLC: This three-day session is intended to provide generic background theory, applications information and programming practices.
