10-Hour OSHA General Industry and Forklift Certification

This course will meet Nov. 11 and Nov. 12. It is is ideal for anyone with safety and health responsibilities. Students will be introduced to OSHA policies, procedures and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA Act Part 1910. Six hours of this program will focus on forklift safety and the OSHA requirements for 29 CFR 1910.178-Powered Industrial Trucks.

Topics of discussion will include:

  • Forklift Orientation
  • Prestart Inspections
  • Stability and Design
  • Proper Safety Procedures
  • Handling and Transporting Hazardous Materials
  • General Awareness of Various Federal Regulations

Registration includes course materials, interactive training, breaks, a 10-Hr. OSHA General Industry card and a Forklift certification card.
