This series provides a combination of lecture and hands-on learning using custom-built trainers. These courses provide the foundational skills needed to help existing maintenance technicians expand their skills. It’s also a good opportunity for individuals who want to develop into maintenance technicians.
Session dates and topics are as follows:
- Jan. 14-15, Technical Diagrams: This seminar will provide a guide to learning technical diagrams. Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic drawing, diagrams and schematics are included.
- Feb. 11-13, Mechanical Systems: This three-day training seminar is a common sense guide to learning mechanical systems and power transmission.
- March 18-20, Electrical Fundamentals: This three-day seminar is a common sense guide to learning electrical principles and troubleshooting.
- April 15-18, Electro-Pneumatics: Through this study of fundamental principles of fluid power systems, students will become familiar with various pneumatic components and their function with hands-on labs.
- May 13-15, Motor Controls: This three-day training session focuses on motor control and relay logic.
- June 10-11, Variable Frequency Drives: This two-day course gives maintenance technicians, engineers and specifiers insights into VFD theory, operation and installation.
- July 15-17, RS Logix 500: This three-day session is intended to provide generic background theory, applications information and programming practices.
The registration fee includes interactive instruction, printed materials, and certificates of completion. Seating is limited so early registration is encouraged.
