Students will be introduced to the art of woodcarving with hand tools. You will learn the different ways to manipulate a knife and how to read the grain of the wood: at least two wood carvings will be completed. Tools and equipment will be provided. Students must be 16 years of age or older. Class size is limited to six. It will meet May 16, 23 and 30.
