Knitting is a great way to relax at the end of a long day. It has been linked to reducing stress and anxiety as well as improving cognitive function. Join us as we learn a craft that improves our mental and emotional health and leave with something beautiful and handmade by you. We will start with a rib stitch scarf and then, using the same pattern will knit a matching hat. No experience required, just a desire to learn. The class will meet Tuesdays, March 1 through April 5 (no class on March 8).
You will need a size 7 16-inch circular needle that will be used for both projects. For the scarf you will need 375-500 yards of worsted weight (size 4) yarn in a color of your choosing. For the hat you will need 200-250 yards of worsted weight (size 4) yarn in a color of your choosing. If you have any questions, please feel free to email email@example.com.
