Also referred to as the Mitered Square or Slipped Stitch Blanket, this class is for any knitter who has an understanding of the basic skills. It's perfect for a beginner or intermediate knitter. This is a great project for leftover scraps collected from anything fingering. Each square or slipped stitch section requires 5 grams of yarn. Bring some for your use or to trade with classmates. The pattern is free with your class registration. The class will meet Feb. 15 and Feb. 22.
Supplies: fingering weight yarn, approximately 400 grams of yarn depending on desired finished size; US 5 circular needle or size to obtain gauge with 32-inch cable for slipped stitch blanket, US 2.5 set of double-pointed needles for mitered square blanket; and markers and tapestry needle.
