Economics

Department: Academic Transfer and General Education

Economics is the branch of social science that studies choice and scarcity. The two divisions of micro- and macroeconomics include a variety of applied fields such as labor economics, regional economics, public finance, international trade and more. Our Economics program is offered for students who are interested in transferring to a four-year college or university. It is also an integral part of various health-related programs at CCC. Our economics courses also meet general education and other requirements for students in other fields.
