Our Drafting and Design Technology program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need for a successful career in the drafting field. You’ll acquire the ability to prepare clear, complete and accurate plans and detailed drawings for use in the building industry and manufacturing. You’ll have the opportunity to choose from one of three specializations: architectural design, manufacturing drafting and design, and structural detailing and design. Not only will you learn the fundamentals in our program, but also how to apply problem-solving skills.

Construction Management Transfer Program:

Our Drafting and Design Technology program also offers the option of transferring to the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Construction Management program. By choosing this option, you’ll attain an associate of science degree from CCC. Coursework at UNK will prepare you with the knowledge and skills necessary to organize, lead and manage people, materials and construction processes. Graduates will assist architects, structural engineers and construction professionals in project management, scheduling and inspections of construction projects.
