“Rockers, and Crawlers, and Walkers, Oh My!”
Presenter: Mindy Young

Workshop will focus on Infant and Toddler care and activities:

Ages & Stages information examining each of the developmental domains
The importance of routines and consistency
Discipline and tools for dealing with behavior
Problem solving issues using Cara’s kit
Planning developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers

Workshop will include time for lesson planning and make and take activities.

All trainings have been pre-approved for DHHS child care licensure training, four (4) in-service hours.

About the Presenter

Mindy Young has spent more than 40 years working in the field of Early Childhood Education. Her background includes owning a center, teaching preschool, teaching kindergarten, 5th grade, and resource in the elementary, an adjunct instructor at Central Community College and University of Nebraska at Kearney, and training for 25 years. She holds endorsements in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, and Elementary Counseling and Guidance.

Mindy is a mom to three, grandma (MiMi) to three and still has five fur babies at home! She has a strong commitment to, and great respect for, all early childhood professionals.
