Why CCC?

Central Community College offers a wide range of educational opportunities and locations.
  • Programs

Prepare for a career  earning a degree, diploma or certificate in one of our 36 career and technical education programs. You can enter a highly paid profession in areas like drafting, dental hygiene and diesel technology after two years or less of full-time study. Of course, many of our students already have family, work and other commitments and attend less than full-time but our flexible scheduling makes it possible to earn a degree through part-time study

If you want to earn a bachelor's degree, CCC is a great place to start. You can complete the first two years through our academic transfer program, earn an associate of arts or associate of science degree and then transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor's degree.

We offer programs at our Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings Campuses, our Holdrege, Kearney and Lexington Centers as well as locations throughout our 25-county service area.

CCC Online offers more than 300 courses in 15 programs as well as 35 degrees, diplomas and certificates that can be completed entirely through online study

No matter what program you choose, you will find that our highly competitive tuition and fee rates make earning a CCC degree surprisingly affordable and provides a valuable option for helping control student debt.

    High School

High school students can start earning college credit or dual credit and explore career options through our career pathways and early college.

Community and Adult Education and Workforce Training

CCC also offers a variety of community and adult education classes including GED, English as a second language, cooking, arts and crafts, computers and technology and other personal enrichment classes. CCC is a primary source of training for business and industry, providing customized training throughout our service area.
